Foreign citizen who stole goods from a store sentenced to 240 hours of community service

The Cheryomushkinsky Court of Moscow has issued a verdict against a 26-year-old Belarusian citizen. He was found guilty of stealing an adult rubber toy worth 21,000 rubles from one of the city's stores.

According to the details of the incident, the man entered the store and asked the salesperson to show him certain items. Finding the prices too high, he attempted to leave the store without paying for the goods. Despite the staff's demands to stop, he fled with the item. This action was qualified by law enforcement agencies as open robbery.

Identified through surveillance cameras, the individual was soon apprehended, and the stolen item was confiscated. During the trial, the defendant fully admitted his guilt and apologized.

Taking into account the man's employment status and the fact that he provides financial support to his family, the court sentenced him to 240 hours of community service. This case serves as another reminder of the serious legal consequences of breaking the law for foreign citizens in Russia.
