According to the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan, a 43-year-old woman and a 32-year-old foreign national are accused of kidnapping an 18-year-old girl in the city of Sterlitamak. According to the investigation, the suspects entered into a criminal conspiracy to force the girl to spend her insurance payments together.
The incident occurred on the evening of October 15, 2026. The suspects used violence against the girl, forced her into a car, and took her to a private house in the Fyodorovsky district, where they held her against her will. The victim managed to find a phone and contacted law enforcement agencies. Police officers rescued the girl and arrested the suspects.
By court decision, both individuals have been remanded in custody as a preventive measure. They have been charged under Part 2 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (kidnapping committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy using violence). Investigative actions are currently underway.
