Migrant suspected of organizing a brothel arrested in Russia

In the Kirovsky district of Saint Petersburg, law enforcement agencies uncovered a location where illegal intimate services were being provided. According to the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, operational measures were carried out in an apartment on Dachny Prospekt.

During the inspection, a 41-year-old citizen of a Central Asian country was arrested on suspicion of renting out the apartment as a brothel. A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident, and a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place of residence has been applied to the suspect.

Additionally, two other women aged 36 and 33 were found in the apartment. Administrative protocols were drawn up against all of them. One of the women was additionally held accountable for violating migration legislation.

Police officers seized five mobile phones and cash from the scene as material evidence. Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
