Officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnodar Territory conducted an inspection at an unfinished residential complex in the city of Anapa. As a result, 19 foreign citizens were identified and detained for engaging in labor activities in violation of migration laws.
During the inspection, it was determined that the majority of these individuals had violated the rules for staying in Russia and were working without authorization. Law enforcement officers issued a total of 24 reports against them under Articles 18.8 and 18.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
The issue of the forced expulsion of 9 of the detainees from Russian territory is currently being considered. Furthermore, a pre-investigation check has been initiated against the employer who hired the illegal migrants under Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of illegal migration).
We remind you that to engage in labor activities in Russia, one must have the appropriate permits and legal grounds. Deficiencies in documentation or their complete absence can lead to administrative fines and deportation from the country.
