Officers from the Russian Interior Ministry's department for the Belgorod Oblast have conducted operational and preventive measures aimed at preventing violations of migration legislation in the region. The inspections covered construction sites, retail facilities, transport infrastructure, catering establishments, and the residences of foreign nationals.
During the operations, a total of 155 administrative offenses were identified, 63 of which were committed by foreign nationals. The total amount of fines imposed exceeded half a million rubles.
As a result of the control measures, four foreign nationals listed in the registry of controlled persons were identified. They were expelled from the Russian Federation and banned from re-entering for a period of 5 to 10 years.
Furthermore, law enforcement agencies recorded instances of organizing illegal migration. Specifically, in the Stary Oskol urban district, a criminal case was initiated under Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation against a group of individuals who facilitated the illegal stay of two foreign nationals. Additionally, a criminal case was opened against a foreign national who used a forged driver's license.
