Officers from the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Chelyabinsk region, with the support of OMON, conducted a raid at the Karavan food market as part of the "Illegal Migrant" operation. During the inspection, the documents of foreign citizens working at the market were checked.
As a result of the operation, 11 foreign citizens who violated migration laws were identified and taken to the police station for investigation. According to law enforcement agencies, a total of 11 administrative offenses were recorded.
Among the identified violations were 8 cases of violating the rules of stay on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as instances of illegal labor activity and evasion of mandatory medical examinations.
By court decision, 3 of the detained foreign citizens were ordered to be forcibly expelled (deported) from the territory of Russia. Investigation proceedings are continuing for the remaining citizens in accordance with the established legislation.
