Migrant who returned to Russia after changing his name to be deported again

In the Vyazemsky District of the Khabarovsk Territory, law enforcement officers detained a 24-year-old foreign citizen. During the checks, it was revealed that he had returned to the country illegally, despite being banned from entering.

It turned out that in 2024, the individual had been administratively expelled from Russia and was subject to a five-year entry ban. To circumvent the ban, he changed his first and last name. However, because his patronymic and date of birth remained unchanged, law enforcement agencies were able to quickly identify him using database records.

According to the court's decision, the offender was fined and ordered to be administratively expelled from the country. Currently, the detainee has been placed in a temporary detention center for foreign citizens in the city of Khabarovsk.

This incident serves as a reminder that attempts by foreign citizens to bypass entry bans established by Russian law lead to serious legal consequences, including re-deportation and prosecution.
