Uzbek mother and infant returned to their homeland

Staff members of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk provided practical assistance in returning our compatriot and her two-month-old infant, who had found themselves in a difficult situation, to Uzbekistan.

According to reports, due to the mother's violation of Russian migration laws, her child had been temporarily placed in the Rassvet children's rehabilitation center. Diplomats took control of the situation and took the necessary steps to ensure the reunification of the mother and child and their return to their homeland.

Consulate General staff conducted negotiations with relevant Russian authorities, including the management of the temporary detention center for foreign nationals and the rehabilitation center. As a result, all necessary documents for the mother and child were processed in a short period of time.

On August 28 of this year, diplomats collected the infant from the rehabilitation center and transported them to Novosibirsk airport, where a meeting with the mother was arranged. On the same day, the mother and child were seen off to Tashkent.
