Officers of the Border Service of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia for the Kurgan and Tyumen regions denied entry to more than 200 foreign citizens as part of the special operation "Solidarity-2026". According to official information, these individuals were banned from entering for various reasons.
Also, during the operation, 73 people were held administratively liable for violating the border regime and the rules for crossing the state border. The total amount of fines imposed on the violators reached 330 thousand rubles.
These measures were carried out in cooperation with the border services of Kazakhstan. The main goal of the operation was to curb cross-border crime, including human smuggling and the movement of prohibited goods.
Personnel from the FSB, the Federal Customs Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, and representatives of the local population participated in the control measures. Citizens planning to cross the Russian border are advised to pay attention to document procedures and ensure they have no entry bans in advance.
