7 foreigners working illegally in Russia to be deported

During inspections conducted by the Kansk district police, 7 foreign citizens were identified engaging in illegal labor activities at one of the manufacturing enterprises. Although these individuals entered Russian territory legally, they were working without the necessary permits.

During the inspection, the foreigners attempted to explain that they were guests familiarizing themselves with the company's operations for "ecotourism" and "entrepreneurial" purposes. However, these claims were dismissed once it was determined that their visa purposes did not match their actual activities.

Police officers issued two administrative protocols for each foreign citizen. In accordance with Articles 18.8 and 18.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, they were fined and ordered to leave the country under controlled self-departure (deportation).

Additionally, an investigation is underway regarding the management of the enterprise that illegally hired these migrants. The employers will be held accountable in accordance with the procedures established by law.
