Near the city of Krasnokamensk in the Zabaykalsky Krai, law enforcement officers identified a group of foreigners engaged in illegal labor activities. During the inspection, it was revealed that 8 foreign citizens were collecting medicinal plants in a field.
It was determined that these individuals entered the Russian Federation for tourist purposes, but in practice, they were hired by a local resident and were carrying out labor activities. Officers from the Russian Interior Ministry's Krasnokamensk department conducted an investigation into the matter.
For each foreign citizen who committed the violation, a protocol was drawn up under Article 18.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (illegal performance of labor activities). Additionally, the Zabaykalsky Krai resident who illegally hired them was also held administratively liable in accordance with the established procedure.
Measures for administrative expulsion from Russian territory will be applied to the foreigners who violated migration laws. According to this decision, they will be barred from re-entering the Russian Federation for the next five years.
