Law enforcement agencies conducted a special operation called "Nelegal-2026" at one of the warehouses in the Russian city of Solnechnogorsk. During the inspections, 59 foreign citizens were identified living and working on the territory of the Russian Federation without the required documents.
It was established that 32 of those detained were working illegally. During the check, some of the foreigners stated that they did not know the Russian language, while others reported that they lacked documents or were not carrying them. In particular, it was revealed that one individual had arrived on August 28 for the purpose of working but had not obtained the necessary permits.
Measures are being taken against the offenders under Articles 18.8 and 18.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. Accordingly, these individuals will be fined between 5,000 and 7,000 rubles and expelled from the territory of the Russian Federation.
Additionally, investigative actions have been initiated against the employer company that hired the illegal workers. If the organization's guilt is proven, the legal entity could face a fine ranging from 400,000 to 1,000,000 rubles for each illegally employed worker.
