In Tyumen, law enforcement officers carried out another round of preventive measures against illegal migration. Police officers inspected areas where foreign nationals frequently gather, as well as their workplaces.
During the inspection, a total of 290 foreign citizens and stateless persons were checked. As a result, 16 cases of migration law violations were recorded.
Regarding the identified violations, nine foreign nationals were held administratively liable for failing to leave Russia after their authorized period of stay had expired. Seven other individuals were found to lack documents confirming their legal right to stay.
Administrative fines were imposed on these seven individuals, and a decision was made to forcibly deport them from the territory of the Russian Federation. It was announced that control measures to identify illegal migration and prevent violations in the region will continue.
