14 foreigners to be deported from Yakutsk: migration rules violated

Officers from the Russian Interior Ministry's Department for the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) conducted large-scale inspections as part of the 'Illegal-2026' operational-preventive measures. Between October 1 and October 4, police and Federal Security Service representatives inspected 985 facilities where foreign citizens live and work.

As a result of the inspections, a total of 2,862 foreign citizens were screened, and 97 violations of migration legislation were recorded. Administrative fines totaling 282,000 rubles were imposed for these violations. Additionally, a decision was made to administratively expel 14 individuals from the territory of the Russian Federation.

Furthermore, law enforcement agencies banned 5 foreigners from entering Russia, shortened the temporary residence permits of another 5 individuals, and ordered the deportation of one person. During the inspection, forged documents were discovered on one foreign citizen.

At the same time, 13 cases involving crimes in the migration sphere (Articles 322.1 and 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) were identified. It was reported that procedural decisions will be made regarding these facts in accordance with the law. Preventive measures regarding migration control in the city of Yakutsk are ongoing.
