In the city of Ivanovo, Russian Federation, a 36-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan suspected of drug trafficking was arrested by police officers.
The individual arrived in Russia officially for the purpose of earning a living and working. However, as a result of investigations conducted by operational officers of the Interior Ministry's Drug Control Department, his illegal income-generating activities were exposed.
At the time of the arrest, a total of 101 packages containing narcotic substances were confiscated from the suspect. Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the Uzbek citizen, and he is being held criminally liable. Police officers are continuing investigative actions to determine other details of the crime.
