In the Omsk region, a verdict has been delivered against an individual who helped someone illegally cross the Russian border. According to investigation data, a train driver who is a citizen of Kazakhstan used his official position to secretly transport a foreigner, who was banned from entering Russian territory, in a freight car.
the incident occurred in March 2023. For 100,000 rubles, the driver agreed to bring a person who did not have the right to cross the border into Russian territory. To distract border service personnel, he dressed the illegal migrant in the uniform of a train crew member. This ruse worked temporarily, and the individual managed to cross the border.
Later, when the crime was uncovered, the driver was arrested. According to the court's decision, he was sentenced to two years and five months of imprisonment. This case demonstrates that the use of illegal methods by foreign citizens to enter Russian territory leads to serious criminal consequences.
