According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Novosibirsk Region, the investigation into the criminal case against a 27-year-old foreign national has been completed. He is being held accountable under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, including the intentional murder of a minor with extreme cruelty, as well as torture.
According to the investigation's findings, between March 25 and April 27, 2026, the suspect lived in the city of Novosibirsk with his partner and her minor child. During this time, he regularly displayed aggression toward the family members, inflicting bodily injuries on the woman and her daughter using his hands, feet, and various objects.
The crime was committed on the evening of April 27. The suspect delivered multiple blows to the head and various parts of the body of the 3-year-old girl. As a result, the child lost consciousness and was hospitalized, but despite all efforts by the doctors, the girl passed away.
Based on the evidence collected by investigative authorities, the criminal case has been sent to court for consideration on its merits. The defendant will face trial under Article 105 (murder), Article 117 (torture), and Article 111 (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
