Near the village of Eksperimentalny in the Orenburg Region, traffic police officers stopped a Volvo vehicle. During the inspection, the driver's license presented by the 30-year-old foreign driver raised suspicions among the inspectors.
The document was seized and sent for forensic examination. The results of the examination confirmed that the license was fake and had been produced using a color inkjet printer. According to the driver, he had purchased the document via the internet.
Law enforcement agencies have initiated a criminal case regarding this incident. Currently, a preventive measure in the form of a travel restriction has been applied to the suspect.
