Individuals planning attacks on migrant-populated areas sentenced to 20 years in Russia

In the city of Vladimir, two local residents who aimed to incite violence and conflict against migrants and representatives of Central Asia were put on trial. The men, aged 32 and 33, were found guilty of preparing terrorist acts and inciting national hatred.

According to the investigation, the group's organizer, dissatisfied with Russia's migration policy, created a special chat in social networks in 2025. Gathering his supporters, he planned to set fire to places where migrants congregate, such as "Choyxona," "Snack-bar," and "Shashlik house." To achieve this goal, the criminals conducted training sessions on making "Molotov cocktails."

As a result of operational measures carried out by officers of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), the criminals were apprehended before they could carry out their plans. The court found them guilty of participating in a terrorist community, training for terrorist activities, and inciting hatred.

According to the court verdict, the group's organizer was sentenced to 22 years, and his accomplice to 19 years in prison. They were also fined 900,000 and 400,000 rubles, respectively. At present, the court verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
