Migrant staying via fake employment contract and their accomplice identified in Russia

During operational activities conducted by the internal affairs department of the Penza region, a 65-year-old local resident was arrested. She is suspected of organizing the illegal stay of a foreign national born in 1996 on the territory of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, the suspect received an offer from a foreign acquaintance to formalize a fake employment contract in exchange for money. This document was submitted to the Migration Department of the Russian Interior Ministry for the Penza region to extend the stay in the country. However, during the checks, it was determined that the foreign woman did not perform any of the labor duties specified in the contract.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Part 1 of Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The person suspected of the violation faces a penalty of up to 5 years of imprisonment.

According to migration legislation, fake documents or contracts concluded without a real place of employment are considered illegal. Law enforcement agencies urge foreign citizens to strictly adhere to migration rules and refrain from suspicious offers.
