Migrant who obtained citizenship via fake certificate fined 1 million rubles

In the Ural region, a court ruling has been issued in the case of 35-year-old Tajikistan citizen Jamshed Kenjayev, who attempted to obtain Russian citizenship illegally. According to investigation data, instead of processing documents through official channels, he purchased a fake certificate claiming he had participated in the special military operation.

Based on this forged document, the individual obtained Russian citizenship. However, the forgery was later discovered, and legal proceedings were initiated. During the court hearing, the defendant admitted his guilt, stating that he did it due to family circumstances and for the sake of his children's future.

The judge decided not to deprive the father of many children of his liberty, but imposed a strict financial penalty. Accordingly, the person who obtained citizenship illegally was ordered to pay a fine of 1 million rubles.

This case serves as another reminder to migrants of the importance of using only legal means when processing documents. The use of any forged documents or bribery can lead to severe legal consequences, including large fines.
