Uzbekistanis injured in Tatarstan incident returned to their homeland

On August 10 of this year, a group of Uzbekistan citizens sustained injuries as a result of a drone attack in the city of Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan. In connection with this incident, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan, the representative office of the Migration Agency in Russia, and the airline "Uzbekistan Airways" provided the necessary assistance to the victims.
In particular, after the condition of our compatriots who had suffered severe injuries and were treated in local hospitals, including undergoing complex surgical procedures, stabilized, they were returned to Uzbekistan via medical evacuation. The last injured citizen was also brought to the homeland via the "Kazan–Tashkent" route, and conditions were created for them to continue their treatment process.
According to official information, the issues of processing the necessary documents for receiving compensation payments for the injured compatriots in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and submitting them to the relevant organizations are currently under control.
