Individuals who killed two Uzbek women in Turkey sentenced to life imprisonment

A court in Istanbul, Turkey, has delivered its verdict on individuals accused of murdering two Uzbek women. According to the court's decision, Dilshod Turdimurodov and Gofurjon Kamolkhujayev have each been sentenced to two consecutive life terms with aggravated circumstances.
The court found them guilty of "intentional murder with cruelty or torture." Furthermore, for committing theft in the home by taking advantage of the victims' deaths, each defendant was sentenced to two additional terms of up to 7 years in prison.
According to case files, the victims of the crime were 36-year-old Durdona Hakimova and 32-year-old Sayyora Ergashaliyeva. The incident took place in the Umraniye district of Istanbul.
