Director of the Agency for External Labor Migration of Uzbekistan, Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Belarus to Uzbekistan, Alexander Ogorodnikov. During the negotiations, issues of organized employment of Uzbek citizens in Belarus, particularly in the Vitebsk region, were discussed.
Belarusian employers have expressed a need for about 800 workers. Currently, the documents of candidates submitted from the Andijan region have been verified, and a list of 204 citizens has been formed. In the future, it is planned to involve applicants from all regions of the republic in the selection process.
The job vacancies offered mainly cover areas such as animal husbandry, tractor operation, driving, and auxiliary work. The documents and professional skills of the candidates are checked at the initial stage, and the final selection is carried out through online interviews with Belarusian employers.
Also, at the meeting, a proposal was put forward to explore the possibility of covering the travel expenses of citizens by the employer in advance. This cooperation is aimed at ensuring safe and official working conditions for Uzbek migrants.
