The Mariinsk City Court in the Kuzbass region issued a ruling regarding a violation related to the labor activities of a foreign worker. During the court hearing, it was established that a local entrepreneur had hired a migrant in his store, but the employee was performing duties outside the profession specified in the patent.
It turned out that the individual, a citizen of Tajikistan, was registered under a patent as a "loader." However, during an inspection conducted by law enforcement agencies, it was discovered that he was assisting customers in the sales area with choosing footwear, effectively performing the duties of a sales consultant.
During the trial, the entrepreneur did not admit guilt and claimed that the employee was simply organizing goods. Nevertheless, witness testimonies and photographs taken during the inspection confirmed that the migrant was working as a salesperson.
This situation was found to be a violation of Russian migration legislation. As a result, the court imposed an administrative fine of 25,000 rubles on the entrepreneur. This incident serves as a reminder that it is important for migrants not to work outside the scope of the profession specified in their patents.
