The International Organization for Migration (IOM), in partnership with the Migration Agency, has announced a new grant competition for citizens returning from abroad. This initiative is funded by the Swedish Ministry of Justice.
Citizens who worked abroad and returned to Uzbekistan in 2025–2026 are eligible to participate in the competition. Within the framework of the program, priority will be given to candidates who have clear and well-founded ideas for business development, aimed at creating new jobs and ensuring the sustainability of existing businesses. Furthermore, women's entrepreneurial initiatives will receive special support.
Applications for the grant are accepted until September 21 of this year. Interested individuals must fill out a special electronic form and submit their business projects.
