Three foreigners held accountable for violating migration rules in Irkutsk

In the Irkutsk region, law enforcement officers conducted regular raids to monitor compliance with migration legislation. The operation involved representatives of the regional department of the Russian Interior Ministry, the migration department, and the Russian National Guard.
Checks were mainly carried out at fruit and vegetable warehouses and several catering establishments within the city. The main goal of the raid was to identify and prevent illegal migration channels.
During the inspection, three individuals who violated migration laws were identified. They were held accountable under Article 19.27 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (providing false information during migration registration).
Police are conducting investigations into the identified cases. Based on the results of the inspections, appropriate decisions will be made in accordance with Russian law. Such preventive measures are being carried out in the region on a regular basis.
