Police officers conducted a large-scale raid on Krasnogo Tekstilshchika Street in Saint Petersburg to check whether foreign citizens are complying with migration legislation requirements. This was reported by the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry.
During the operational event, law enforcement officers checked 117 vehicles and 156 foreign citizens. Based on the inspection results, administrative protocols were drawn up against 22 individuals. These violations are punishable by fines and expulsion (deportation) from the country.
In addition, State Traffic Safety Inspectorate officers identified a number of traffic violations. 10 drivers who violated the rules were held administratively liable.
