In the Komsomolsky District of the Chuvash Republic, a Yutong bus with Uzbek license plates was stopped during an operational-preventive measure conducted by law enforcement agencies. During the inspection, the documents of 64 passengers inside the vehicle were checked.
It was determined that 18 of the passengers had lost their legal grounds for staying in Russia. These citizens were held administratively liable for violating migration legislation. According to the court's decision, these individuals will be forcibly expelled from Russia and banned from entering the country for 5 years. Currently, 5 of them have been placed in the Ministry of Internal Affairs' temporary detention center for foreign citizens.
A total of 40 offenses were recorded during the inspection. The migrants were found guilty of violating rules such as evading mandatory medical examinations and failing to adhere to the stated purpose of entry into Russia.
Measures were also taken against the bus driver. He was ordered to pay a fine of 2,500 rubles for each passenger in an illegal status. Law enforcement agencies urge migrants to strictly comply with the rules for staying in Russia and to process all documents in a timely manner.
