28 migrants expected to be deported from Russia in Krasnoyarsk Krai

Law enforcement agencies of the Krasnoyarsk Krai have announced the results of control measures carried out over the past week. During the raids, more than 160 trade and catering facilities, construction sites, and residential addresses of foreign nationals were inspected.

As a result of the inspections, a total of 111 administrative offenses were identified. In particular, 39 protocols were drawn up against employers who illegally hired foreign workers. Furthermore, criminal cases have been initiated against two local residents who illegally registered foreigners in their homes; they face up to 5 years of imprisonment.

It is noted that the issue of forced deportation is being considered for 28 migrants who failed to leave the country within the prescribed period. In addition, 193 foreigners who violated migration rules have been banned from entering Russia for a period of 3 to 5 years. The temporary stay periods for another 52 foreign citizens have been shortened.

Experts remind migrants to comply with migration legislation and to keep under constant control their employment contracts and registration documents for their place of residence.
