According to information released by the Russian Interior Ministry, law enforcement agencies in the Moscow region have organized a new series of raids aimed at strengthening control over compliance with migration legislation. During the operations, authorities checked the rules governing the stay of foreign nationals in the country and the procedures for their employment.
As a result of the inspections, a total of 113 violations of migration laws were recorded. Relevant procedural documents have been drawn up for these cases, and measures are being taken in accordance with established legal procedures.
Foreign citizens temporarily residing and working in Russia are advised to keep their documents, including registration and work permits, in compliance with legal requirements and to extend their validity in a timely manner.
