Since the beginning of the year, more than 1,500 migrants have been forcibly expelled from the Novosibirsk region. This figure is nearly 60 percent higher than last year.
According to official data from the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP) of Russia for the Novosibirsk region, a total of 1,524 foreign citizens have been forcibly deported from the region since the beginning of the current year.
For comparison, during the same period in 2025, this figure was 958. This indicates that the number of cases of expelling lawbreakers has increased by nearly 1.5 times, or by 60%, this year.
Which countries' citizens were expelled the most? Authorities report that the vast majority of those expelled from the country are citizens of Central Asian states. The top of the list includes the following countries:

Reasons and conditions Until the court decision was executed, all offenders were placed in special centers for the temporary detention of foreign citizens. Most migrants were detained for violating entry rules into Russian territory, engaging in unauthorized labor activities, or failing to comply with the terms of stay in the country (Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).
It should be noted that recently, raids against migrants have intensified at large warehouse complexes, markets, and construction sites in Novosibirsk. Individuals expelled by court order are banned from entering Russia for a long period.
