Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Novosibirsk region, Andrey Kulkov, announced new statistics on the migration situation in the region at a government meeting. According to him, 7896 foreign citizens left the region over the course of a week, while the number of those entering was 6879.
Experts note that this situation is linked to seasonal workers finishing their summer labor activities and returning to their home countries. For comparison, the situation was the opposite in April 2025: at that time, 8017 foreigners arrived in the region, which was 2800 more than the previous week.
Along with voluntary departures, control measures are also continuing in the region. Since the beginning of 2026, 1.5 thousand foreign citizens have been forcibly expelled from Russian territory. During recent raids, 213 violations were identified at three residential properties and five construction sites.
As a result of these inspections, deportation decisions were made against 67 individuals. Currently, 50 of them have actually been expelled from the territory of Russia.
