Officers from the military investigative department of the Novosibirsk garrison, together with representatives of the Russian Interior Ministry, conducted raids aimed at combating illegal migration. The inspections took place at the 'Asia-Sibir' vegetable market, involving over ten officials.
During the raid, the focus was on identifying individuals who had acquired Russian citizenship but were evading military registration. A total of 87 migrants were checked. Twelve of them were taken to the military commissariat and registered for military service in accordance with established procedures.
Additionally, representatives from military recruitment centers provided information to these individuals regarding military service under contract and distributed relevant materials. Officials stated that such inspections are planned to continue in the future.
During the inspection, the market area was fully secured, preventing anyone from leaving the premises. Representatives of the official agencies stated that they are handling the cases identified during the checks in accordance with the law.
