During inspections conducted by migration units of the Pskov Region Interior Ministry, foreign citizens illegally residing in Russia were identified. Additionally, individuals held accountable for committing crimes were identified during the control measures.
In September of this year, 5 foreign citizens who had been living on Russian territory without legal grounds were forcibly returned to their home countries. A 5-year entry ban to the Russian Federation was imposed on these individuals.
According to the Russian Interior Ministry, violations of migration legislation, including overstaying the permitted period or deficiencies in work permit documents, lead to serious legal consequences for foreign migrants. Experts remind migrants to constantly monitor the validity of their documents and to comply with legal residency procedures.
