Migration control is being strengthened in Russian regions

Law enforcement agencies are conducting preventive measures to ensure compliance with migration legislation across various regions of the Russian Federation. Specifically, raids on construction sites in Samara resulted in the identification of dozens of foreigners whose documents were not in order. Due to these violations, 63 individuals were banned from entering Russia, and 16 citizens were deported from the country.

Control measures have also been strengthened in other regions. For instance, during inspections in the Moscow region, 113 foreigners were taken to police stations. Of those, 84 were ordered to leave the country. In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), as part of the "Labor Migrant" operation, 114 violations were recorded, and 16 individuals working illegally were deported.

In the Perm Territory, following the results of the first half of the current year, over 6,000 facilities were inspected, and nearly 3,000 violations were identified. As a result, decisions on administrative deportation and entry bans were issued against hundreds of individuals. Furthermore, in the Stavropol Territory, large fines were imposed on enterprises that illegally employed foreign nationals.

Migration service representatives are urging employers to comply with the law. For the use of illegal labor, enterprises face fines of up to 800,000 rubles or the suspension of their activities for up to 90 days. Foreign citizens are requested to process their documents in a timely manner and strictly adhere to the migration regime.
