Migration department officials in Primorsky Krai have deported a foreign citizen from Russian territory for using a fake driver's license. The individual, born in 1984, was found guilty under Part 3 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (forgery of documents).
It was determined that the citizen was apprehended by traffic police officers while in possession of a fake driver's license purchased via the internet. According to the court's decision, he was sentenced to 4 months of imprisonment in a penal colony. After serving his sentence, his presence in Russia was deemed undesirable, and he was placed in a temporary detention center for foreign citizens in the city of Artyom.
In accordance with Russian legislation, an entry ban to the Russian Federation has been imposed on the deported individual. After crossing the state border, he will be prohibited from entering Russia for a period of 5 years.
Migration authorities urge foreign citizens to strictly adhere to legal requirements when processing documents and to avoid purchasing suspicious documents online. Such actions lead not only to fines but also to imprisonment and mandatory expulsion from the country.
