11 Uzbek children left unattended in Russia and Kazakhstan returned to their homeland

Over the past week, 11 minors who were left without parental care in foreign countries were returned to Uzbekistan. This process was organized in cooperation between the authorized bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the relevant agencies of foreign states.

According to official information, 9 of the returned children were in the Russian Federation, and 2 were in the Republic of Kazakhstan. A working group consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the National Agency for Social Protection, and the Children's Ombudsman participated in bringing the children back to their homeland.

Currently, work is underway to protect the rights and interests of the returned children, reintegrate them into a family environment, and provide them with necessary social support. The future of the children and the process of their adaptation to family life have been placed under the supervision of "Inson" social service centers at their places of residence.
