Migrants in Yekaterinburg receive legal advice: when should they contact the consulate?

Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg and the External Labor Migration Agency held a meeting with our compatriots working at the construction company "MonolitStroy" LLC. The event was organized in honor of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence.

During the dialogue, diplomats informed the migrants about the efforts being made to protect the rights and interests of citizens residing abroad. The importance of strictly adhering to workplace safety regulations and the terms of employment contracts was also emphasized.

At the meeting, it was noted that in cases where employers delay salary payments or violate labor rights, it is necessary to immediately contact the Consulate General's "Call Center." Such reports are crucial for resolving issues promptly.

At the same time, the migrants were given relevant recommendations on complying with current migration rules in Russia, as well as taking personal safety measures in the event of emergencies and the threat of attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).
