A meeting was organized in the Muslyumovsky District of Tatarstan for foreign citizens on the topic of maintaining legal status and complying with laws in the Russian Federation. The event discussed issues related to the stay, employment, and social safety of migrants in Russia.
During the meeting, the importance of migration registration, extending the period of temporary stay, and adhering to registration rules was explained. Experts reminded participants that violating these rules can lead to serious consequences, such as administrative expulsion from the country and a ban on entry into Russia.
Regarding labor legislation, it was emphasized that obtaining patents and work permits, properly concluding an employment contract with an employer, and fulfilling the requirements of the tax code are essential. The possession of these documents is a fundamental condition for a migrant to engage in legal labor activities.
Security issues on social media were also addressed. Experts warned about information that could be considered illegal and emphasized the importance of reporting to law enforcement agencies if one encounters suspicious offers or situations related to illegal activities.
