Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan held a meeting with our compatriots working at the 'Triliton' and 'Vladtorg' enterprises in the city of Vladivostok. During the dialogue, the labor and living conditions of the migrants, the quality of housing and food, as well as issues regarding the timely payment of wages were discussed in detail.
At the meeting, consular staff informed the compatriots about the measures being taken to protect their rights and interests. The importance of organizing safe labor migration abroad, adhering to safety regulations in emergency situations, and following the principles of interethnic harmony was also emphasized.
At the same time, the essence and significance of new regulatory documents adopted in Uzbekistan regarding the social and legal support of labor migrants were explained. Such meetings serve to increase the legal literacy of migrants and ensure the timely resolution of potential problems.
As a result of negotiations with the management of the enterprises, an analysis of personnel needs was conducted. The parties reached an agreement to expand the organized and legal employment of Uzbek citizens in high-demand specialties.
