As a result of preventive measures carried out by the Migration Department of the Astrakhan Region Ministry of Internal Affairs between September 21 and 27, 167 cases related to violations of migration legislation were recorded. The inspections identified violations committed by both foreign citizens and the receiving parties.
According to statistical data, 18 cases of violation of the rules of stay in Russia by citizens of Central Asian, South Caucasian, and East African countries were identified, as well as 17 cases of illegal labor activity. Additionally, in 11 instances, the receiving party failed to notify migration authorities about the arrival of a foreign citizen.
Furthermore, 4 foreign citizens were held accountable for evading mandatory medical examinations. Medical examinations are required to confirm the absence of drug use and infectious diseases that pose a danger to the public.
In total, fines amounting to 322,000 rubles were imposed as a result of the raids conducted in the region. Migration authorities are urging foreign workers and those hiring them to comply with the law and ensure all documents are processed in a timely manner.
