Migrant checks in Krasnoyarsk: violators identified

A "Unified Prevention Day" was held in Krasnoyarsk with the participation of law enforcement officers and representatives of the public. As part of the event, the city administration, bailiffs, and members of volunteer squads conducted joint large-scale inspections in residential areas and at enterprises.

During the inspections, compliance with migration legislation was also monitored. In particular, when checking the documents of 11 foreign citizens, violations of the rules for staying in the Russian Federation were identified in 2 cases. Appropriate administrative measures are expected to be taken regarding these incidents.

Furthermore, the raids covered retail outlets. As a result of the control measures, illegal activities related to violations of alcohol sales regulations and the sale of unmarked tobacco products were recorded. All suspicious goods were sent for examination.

Police officers held preventive talks with city residents, warning them about how to protect themselves from remote fraud and about personal safety rules. Additionally, 31 traffic violations were identified, and 19 administrative protocols were drawn up for maintaining public order.

Officials emphasized that such prevention days are held on a regular basis to respond promptly to citizens' appeals and to increase the level of safety within the city.
