The Russian Interior Ministry's department for the city of Michurinsk has announced the continuation of the second stage of the comprehensive operational-preventive event "Illegal Migrant - 2026". As part of the operation, law enforcement officers are conducting inspections at locations where foreign citizens and stateless persons reside and work.
During the inspections, a total of 10 administrative offenses were identified. These violations are related to the failure to comply with the rules for entry, exit, and stay in the Russian Federation, as well as the procedures for carrying out labor activities by foreign citizens.
Administrative fines were imposed on all individuals found guilty of the identified violations. Compliance with migration legislation requires foreign citizens to have legal grounds for staying and working in Russia.
The Migration Issues Department of the Michurinsk City Police is asking city residents to report locations with high concentrations of foreign citizens by calling 8 (47545) 5-35-50.
