The incident occurred during the day on July 23, 2026. According to investigators, a controller from the state institution "Organizer of Transportation" identified a passenger without a ticket inside a bus and demanded the presentation of a passport to draw up an administrative report. The passenger refused to comply with this demand and used physical force against the controller.
The incident was captured on surveillance cameras. The suspect has been detained, charged, and a preventive measure has been selected.
The Moscow Investigative Committee reminded that the use of violence against public transport employees, including controllers, while they are performing their official duties, entails criminal liability. Under Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, such actions are punishable by measures ranging from fines to imprisonment.
