Operational and preventive measures under the 'Illegal Migrant' operation were carried out in Russia's Altai Krai from August 24 to 28. During the raids, law enforcement officers inspected markets, catering establishments, construction sites, and agricultural facilities.
As a result of the inspections, a total of 237 administrative offenses were recorded. Specifically, foreign nationals working without permits were identified at construction sites in the Pervomaysky District. Administrative protocols were drawn up against them and the individuals who hired them.
It was determined that 29 foreigners were staying in Russia illegally. Most of them had violated entry rules or failed to register for migration purposes in a timely manner. Fines have been imposed on these individuals, and measures are being taken to expel them from Russia. In some cases, forced deportation will be carried out.
Furthermore, 5 criminal cases related to illegal migration were initiated during the raids. Law enforcement representatives are urging foreign citizens to strictly adhere to migration legislation and process their documents on time. It was announced that similar inspections will continue in the region in the future.
