OMON officers conducted a raid at the Yuzhno-Balyk Gas Processing Plant located in the city of Pyt-Yakh, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. During the inspection, the enterprise was searched for foreign workers engaged in labor activities without legal documentation.
Law enforcement representatives also inspected the living quarters of the migrants. During the search, substances prohibited for storage and transport were found in the rooms of some foreign workers. These items were seized for further expert analysis and to determine their origin.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are investigating all the details of the incident. Official results of the raid and information regarding legal measures to be taken against those who committed violations are expected to be released in due course.
We remind you that compliance with the rules of work and residence in Russia is mandatory. Any instances of law-breaking are strictly monitored and investigated by the police. Despite the labor shortages observed in the region's oil and gas sector, it is essential that all documents meet legal requirements during the employment process.
