The Kholmsk department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report from an organization employee regarding the theft of company property. As a result of operational search activities, a 44-year-old foreign national was identified as a suspect in the crime.
It was determined that the suspect worked as a house insulation laborer for an individual entrepreneur. During his work, he secretly gathered the insulation boards used in the process and listed them for sale on an online classifieds website. Consequently, one of the buyers purchased these items.
The total damage caused by these actions amounts to 40,500 rubles. A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft).
Currently, a preventive measure in the form of a travel restriction and an obligation to maintain good conduct has been imposed on the suspect. Investigative actions are ongoing.
