In the Admiralteysky district of Saint Petersburg, officers of the Russian Interior Ministry, in cooperation with representatives of the State Traffic Inspectorate, conducted a large-scale operational-preventive event. The inspections were mainly carried out on Mitrofanyevskoye Highway and Moskovsky Prospect.
During the raid, law enforcement officers checked a total of 302 individuals, including 27 foreign citizens. The main goal of the event was to monitor compliance with migration legislation and ensure public order.
As a result of the inspection, 1 foreign citizen, who was on the register of controlled persons, was taken to the police station. Signs of a violation of the rules of stay in the Russian Federation (Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) were identified in his case.
In addition, 217 vehicles were inspected by traffic safety officers. Among the drivers, violations such as driving without a license, failure to comply with police orders, and refusal to undergo medical examination were recorded. As a result, 7 administrative reports were drawn up, 8 decisions were issued, and 3 more individuals were sent for chemical-toxicological testing.
