Raid on migrants conducted in Yekaterinburg

On Pekhotintsev Street in Yekaterinburg, law enforcement officers conducted another raid targeting migrants. The city's Interior Ministry press service confirmed that these actions are part of an operational-preventive measure aimed at identifying and preventing migration-related violations in the area.

During the raid, law enforcement officers are checking citizens' identity documents. The ongoing inspections are organized to monitor compliance with the conditions of legal stay in the Russian Federation by migrants.

It should be recalled that similar inspections were carried out in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Yekaterinburg at the beginning of September. During that operation, authorities searched for individuals who had obtained Russian citizenship but failed to register for military service, as well as foreigners staying in the country illegally.

Previously, in early July, a raid conducted near the Novosverdlovskaya Thermal Power Plant (TPP) resulted in the detention of 42 migrants, 12 of whom were deported from the country. Migrants are advised to always keep their documents in order and strictly adhere to the requirements of migration legislation.
